The Essential Adherence to Airport Security & Construction Regulations

Challenge

The TYTO team was hired by a project management company to manage and run the day to day construction of the project, within the overall project. In this subcontracting role, TYTO was the liaison between the client and the multiple airport and security authorities.

Solution

TYTO made it a priority to mitigate risk with project communication. Wherever possible the TYTO team would ask questions and be proactive with project communications to ensure they were compliant to the various authorities’ security regulations (i.e. Transport Canada, Nav Canada and Pitt Meadows Airport).

Result

The quality of TYTO’s build of the Pitt Meadows Air Traffic Control Tower exceeded the client’s expectations. TYTO has become a preferred contractor for Nav Canada and the building owner continues to work with the TYTO team on multiple projects.
