Family Home Bathroom Requires Professional Construction Solutions

Challenge

This bathroom renovation presented specific challenges the TYTO team needed to resolve. Constructing a new shower in a bathroom with a low ceiling and a skylight would present excessive steam and require costly waterproofing with roof tiling. Also, during the demolition of the bathroom in a house with a full family, asbestos was detected and unsafe electrical.

Solution

The TYTO team evaluated the best solution to address the low ceiling challenge and determined the right choice would be to bring in a newer, smaller support beam into the attic space, allowing them to raise the roof. Unsafe electrical was fixed to meet building requirements. A professional asbestos team was called in to minimize the disruption to the family with proper extraction, sealing and ventilation.

Result

A completely asbestos free, clean, and beautiful new bathroom was constructed in the family home. The family experienced minimal disruption to their day to day activities due to the organized scheduling of construction and asbestos removal by the TYTO team.
